MEET THE OWNER

My name is Richard Wade, and I’m the owner of Wade & Co. Lighting and Services. What started as hanging Christmas lights for a few neighbors has grown into a business built on hard work, trust, and treating every customer’s home like it’s my own.

Before starting this company, I worked as a computer teacher for kids in grades K–6. After my son was born, my wife and I decided it was important for me to stay home with our children and focus on family. During that time, I earned my real estate license while searching for the right career path for me.

When real estate wasn’t taking off the way I had hoped, I started hanging Christmas lights around my neighborhood to make a little extra money during the slower seasons. Pretty quickly, word started spreading, and more people began reaching out for help. Then one customer asked me about permanent lighting. I had never installed permanent lights before, but I decided to take a chance and learn everything I could. That one opportunity changed everything.

Now, four years later, Wade & Co. Lighting and Services proudly offers permanent lighting installs, power washing, dryer vent cleaning, painting, handyman services, holiday lighting, and more. I’ve built this business through word of mouth, hard work, and always making sure customers are happy with the final result.

I truly enjoy helping homeowners improve and maintain their homes, whether it’s making a house shine with a fresh wash, installing beautiful permanent lighting, or helping with projects around the house that people simply don’t have the time to tackle themselves.
